Another Eggo is Prego

Yep, it's true. Instead of just two little bambinos calling for aunty Em, i am now going to have a 3rd little one yelling at me and pulling my hair!!!! My Sis is pregnant!!! She is at 12 weeks today and me and mom got to go to her 12 week appointment with her since poor Matt, or DAD, had to work. Ash came home in June and surprised all of us with the news by hanging a sign on the door of her pregnancy test. Ash and Matt were just trying and it was so funny because i had just gotten off the phone from Ash, deliberately tryin not to ask her if she was pregnant because she sounded so down in the dumps and i figured she wasnt. And then when i walked up to the door there was the sign!



This picture is from her 8 week appointment so the baby has grown since then. The baby is healthy and has a strong little heartbeat! It was so fun to be able to see the little peanut! Now we just have to wait another 10 weeks or so to find out if its a Phoebe or Phoebo! =) sorry i couldn't pass up quoting some friends. Our fam has been so blessed by Jess and Levi and now we have a third one to rejoice and thank God for. And im just glad i get to be the aunt and spoil the crap out of them and hand them back to mom and dad. :) Congrats to Ash!!!

Caney Fork and Happy Hollow

This past weekend we had absolutely nothing to do so we were thankful when our friends, Chad and Katelyn, invited us to go canoeing down the Caney Fork river! We put in by the Center Hill Dam (which was generating at the moment). So of course there was a really good current carrying us down the river. well at that rate we would have made it to our car in like 30 minutes. So we decided to stop and eat lunch on this grassy but yet still watery knoll i guess you would call it. So after we ate and the boys fished for awhile, and after we had lost track of time and our senses apparently we were sitting in our canoes ON TOP of the grassy knoll because the dam had quit generating water and there was no longer a current or much water. :) So we drug our canoes back into the water and began on our 4 hour canoe ride. We had Chad and Jonas fishing, going to the bathroom, asking us every 10 minutes if we wanted peanut butter and crackers, Chad with noises, cows, muskrats, squirrels, herrings, and of course fish. The last 45 minutes or hour of our ride the boys decided it was the girls turn to paddle so me and Katelyn(tank 1 and 2) pulled our boys to the Happy Hollow. We had a blast and were so thankful to get our 4 hour 1.5 mile canoe ride to the happy hollow over with. ;)

Hearts and Thoughts

Last night, me and Jonas and our good friends Emily and Justin went to the Ryman to see Eddie Vedder(lead singer of Pearl Jam). He has been going on a solo tour this summer around various places and due to the nature of the Ryman he played two nights. Upon coming onto the stage and the curtains rolling back revealing his set of various backgrounds and movie setups, Eddie proceeded to bow humbly and simply say into the microphone just as if we were his long lost family or friends," It has been too long." He played for an hour and came back with an anchore of duets with Liam Phinn and 2 other guests. And then he finished with "Big Hard Sun" from Into The Wild soundtrack. The setting was intimate and simple and incredibly perfect for Eddie and his persona. We are lucky enough to be in the ten club and got to get 4th row floor seats and if you know the Ryman you know the pews are curved so we were actually on stage far right and had a perfect view. He is a beautiful man :) and Jonas gt to actually hold both of Eddie's hands when he was goin down the line at the end. My husband can now die happy. Only next step would be to eat a meal with him. And maybe i could cook. ;) It was an awesome night with good friends and great music.

SF

We got back late Monday night from San Fran and it was so fun! Cali has the best weather and San Fran has everythign from mountains, city, country, to ocean. We went everywhere and walked all over the city. Here are a few pictures from the 450 i took. :) I get outta of hand with my camera...Enjoy! :)

Happy 2 Year!!!!

So 2 years ago this is what me and Jonas were doing...showers, showers, and more showers. Oh and yeah gettin hitched! I cant believe it was 2 years ago this coming Monday that we said I DO!! The past 2 years have been filled with so much joy and new experiences for us to go through together and I wake up everyday loving Jonas more and more. This year we are goin to San Francisco for our anniversary trip and we leave tomorrow! I cant wait to take Jonas around to see stuff in this awesome city!

TV+Shopping+Food=I'm a sucker

So a couple of months ago me and Jonas were sitting around and i was telling him how much i wanted to plant some tomatoes this spring to have in the summer because lets just face it,homegrown tomatoes are so much better. Not 10 minutes later were we watching TV when a "As scene on TV" ad came on for the one and only topsy turvy. Its an upside down tomato hanger and its supposed to work! AND if you called within the next 10 minutes you could get 2 for the price of 1! 2 people! so i of course called and got them, and i finally got to plant some herbs and tomato plant and a cucumber plant! I was so excited today because i was beginning to think that i had bought the wrong plants or something because NOTHING was happening, but when i went outside to show my mom today there was a bloom! I looked at it and said "Well crap what's that stupid yellow thing on there i guess i should pick that off." And mom so sweetly pointed out to me that it was a tomato! haha of course i would pick off my tomatoes thinking they were weeds or something...so any who here is it!

In a few weeks those spiky things will be cucumbers!
